The Grounds and Sounds Cafe is proud to bring you Simon Apple in concert.

This past November, Simon Apple took the stage in Stony Brook. Two standing ovations later, Simon Apple won over the crowd with their terrific presentation of pop-flavored, jazzy, folky, progressive acoustic music. 

By popular demand, they were pleased to accept our invitation to come back again and be the debut act at the new Grounds and Sounds Cafe.  Simon Apple returns to Stony Brook on Saturday, April 21, at 7:30pm to open the Grounds and Sounds Cafe.  If you missed them first time around, don’t let that happen again!  If you were here last time, you know what to expect.  Buzz Saylor’s amazing percussive pyrotechnics, Jeff Miller’s awesome piano wizardry, Dan Merrill’s beautiful tenor vocals and guitar work, and the smooth sax and clarinet of Dave Miller are sure to be a big hit again this time around.  Mark your calendars, and buy your tickets today.
